Who reviews our content
Calculators, methodology pages and guides are written and reviewed by the ClearRupee Editorial Team at KubeCode. Every methodology page shows who reviewed it and when; every guide shows its author, reviewer, and published and updated dates.
Sources
We rely on primary sources — Reserve Bank of India circulars and directions, statutes and government notifications, and lenders' own published terms and Key Facts Statements — and link to them on each page. We don't treat other websites' summaries as sources of fact.
Calculators
- Every formula, assumption and limitation is published on a methodology page.
- Each calculator is a small, tested function. Our tests include RBI's own worked APR example from its Key Facts Statement circular.
- We compute in full precision and round only when showing a result.
Keeping content up to date
We review each tool and methodology page at least once a year, and sooner when RBI or tax rules change. The "last reviewed" date on each page shows when this last happened.
Separation from commercial interests
Partners and advertisers can't pay for, review or influence our calculators, results or editorial content. We don't rank lenders or recommend a particular loan. See our affiliate disclosure.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help draft text or write and check code. A person reviews everything before it's published, and calculator results are checked by automated tests against worked examples.
Mistakes
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our corrections policy.
