ClearRupee is a set of free loan calculators for people in India who have a loan offer in hand or a loan they're already repaying. We want you to see the real cost of borrowing — the APR after fees and GST, what a prepayment actually saves, whether a balance transfer pays off — before you sign or decide.
Who runs this site
ClearRupee is built and operated by KubeCode, a software company. Our calculators and methodology pages are written and reviewed by the ClearRupee Editorial Team.
What we are not
- We are not a lender, a lending service provider or a loan agent.
- We don't take loan applications, collect documents or pass your details to anyone.
- We don't rank lenders or tell you which loan to take. Our results are educational estimates to help you ask better questions.
Your data stays with you
Every calculation runs in your browser. The numbers you type never reach our servers. See our privacy policy.
How we make money
The site is free to use. In future, some pages may show clearly labelled affiliate offers, and we may earn a commission if you apply through one. Commissions never change a calculator's results, which always appear before any offer. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we work
- Every formula is published on a methodology page, with its assumptions, limitations and primary sources.
- Our APR method follows the one illustrated in RBI's Key Facts Statement circular, and our automated tests reproduce RBI's own worked example.
